Kerja-kerja operasi pencarian di lokasi lubang mendapan berikutan kejadian tanah jerlus yang membabitkan seorang mangsa wanita warganegara India. – Bernama
KUALA LUMPUR: Operasi mencari dan menyelamat (SAR) mangsa insiden tanah jerlus di Jalan Masjid India malam tadi, masih belum menemukan tanda positif.
Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) dalam kenyataan memaklumkan pasukan SAR telah membuat penggalian dengan kedalaman satu hingga dua meter yang berskala kecil di lurang kumbahan pertama di lokasi kejadian.
“Korekan dibuat setelah Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) mengesan kemungkinan terdapat objek (anomali) berada satu meter bawah tanah dalam kawasan ground zero.
“Aktiviti korekan dijalankan sedalam 1.5 meter secara manual shoring oleh pasukan SAR, namun penemuan adalah negatif,” menurut kenyataan itu.
Kenyataan itu memaklumkan, kerja-kerja penggalian manual dihentikan kira-kira 10.15 malam.
DBKL dalam kenyataan semalam memaklumkan operasi SAR yang masuk hari kelapan, diteruskan menggunakan alat GPR dengan pencarian turut dilakukan pada sebelah malam.
Pada 23 Ogos, seorang wanita warga India G. Vijaya Lakshmi, 48, hilang selepas terjatuh ke lubang sedalam lapan meter susulan insiden tanah jerlus di Jalan Masjid India semasa melalui jalan itu untuk ke kuil berhampiran.
Operasi SAR diaktifkan pada hari sama melibatkan anggota pasukan keselamatan dan pihak berkuasa tempatan, yang telah menggunakan pelbagai teknik termasuk kaedah jetting, flushing dan menyedut air keluar daripada lokasi kejadian, dalam usaha mengesan mangsa. — AlHijrah Online
